GSL Education are currently partnering with an exceptional secondary school in Gateshead that is searching for a compassionate and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team.
In the role of a SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be instrumental in providing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, assisting them in overcoming obstacles to their learning and achieving their academic aspirations.
Responsibilities Of The SEMH TA
Provide individualised and group support to students with SEMH needs, enhancing their engagement with learning and helping them manage emotions and behaviour.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, adapting materials and strategies to suit SEMH students.
Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating achievements.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and address challenges appropriately.
Offer emotional support and guidance to help students develop coping strategies and build resilience.
Maintain regular communication with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated support approach
Requirements Of The SEMH TA
Hold relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
Possess prior experience working with students with SEMH needs.
Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills for efficient classroom operation.
Exhibit a compassionate and understanding approach to supporting students.
Show flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a secondary school environment.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).

- Job Description The Technology Risk and Controls Framework Manager is a Vice President role within CTC’s Technology Risk and Control (TRC) organisation. Reporting into the firmwide technology Chief Controls Manager, TRC leads the definition and execution of our technology Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) discipline, which provides the framework for managing the firm’s corporate Information Risk Management program. This role, which requires a combination of in-depth expertise and highly effective organizational skills, is critical to the overall success of the Information Risk Management program.
