The Data Science team is a global, full-stack data team that plays an important role in empowering and driving the growth of TikTok Shop. Through impactful data insights and data products, the team focuses on areas such as metrics development, product, operation, algorithm improvement, data infrastructure, and data product development. The team enables informed decision-making and helps optimize the performance and effectiveness of TikTok Shop.
Responsibilities
Provide quantitative analysis including metrics design, data analysis, and dashboard building. Provide data insights to help develop core operation strategies.
Design and analyze AB tests to constantly improve efficiency, long-term customer value and ensure sustainable growth of the business.
Communicate analysis results with stakeholders, promote implementation of analysis findings and evaluate business impact.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above, graduating in 2026 and available to start full-time immediately.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel and data visualization tools. Familiar with common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression) .
Examples of business or research projects with heavy data analysis or using multiple statistical methods.
Self-driven, ability to learn new information quickly and adapt into dynamic ways of working.
Fluent English in addition to strong communication and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Major in mathematics, statistics, data science or quantitative social science.
Proficiency in python.
Proficiency in Mandarin preferred to enable efficient communication and collaboration.
