THG Nutrition are looking for a Data Scientist - We are seeking an experienced, innovative and results-driven Data Scientist focused on enhancing our business’s modelling capabilities and data products. In this role, you will develop and implement advanced analytical models to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.

As a Data Scientist you’ll:

You will own the development and deployment of data modelling products with a focus on improving our forecasting/predictive capabilities.
Support commercial finance teams with pricing strategies by building price elasticity tools.
Work alongside marketing insights on economic modelling ensuring the correct features are used within models.
Present insights and model outcomes in clear, actionable reports and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels.
Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to uncover trends and patterns that drive model improvements.
Manage junior data scientists, promoting industry best practises and contributing to building a culture of continuous improvement.
Work alongside external data partners to accelerate data modelling capabilities.
Collaborate with cross function units to understand data needs, business challenges, and model requirements.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and model validation techniques.
Strong knowledge of data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Tableau).
Prior experience in ecommerce is highly desired.
Prior experience with Databricks is desired.
A real passion for all things data, with the drive and ambition to champion the use of data across the business.
Highly adaptable and analytical individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
