About the Role

The Group FP&A Analyst will play a key role in delivering financial insight and strategic analysis to support decision-making across the business. The role involves analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing value-add analysis to help drive business strategy. This position requires a proactive and analytical individual who can work independently while collaborating with stakeholders across different teams.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Planning & Reporting

Assist in the annual budgeting and long-term planning process.
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
Maintain a rolling forecast model, providing updated financial outlooks at various time horizons.
Deliver timely and accurate management information to support business performance evaluation.

Analysis & Business Insight

Provide commercial support, analysis, and insight across the business to assist in decision-making.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance across departments.
Conduct critical reviews of financial results and present findings to senior management.
Analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
Support scenario modeling and strategic projects to evaluate business initiatives.

Process Improvement & Systems Development

Continuously improve financial processes, reporting systems, and analytical tools to enhance data quality.
Assist with the implementation and optimization of financial systems, including Oracle Netsuite and NSPB.
Leverage technology, including ERP systems and reporting platforms (Power BI/Tableau), to enhance reporting efficiency and automation.

Collaboration & Business Partnering

Work closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic objectives.
Partner with Media, Racing, and central teams to improve performance through financial analysis and reporting.
Support senior leadership with financial presentations, reports, and ad hoc analysis.

Skills & Experience Required

Professional finance qualification (completed or in progress), such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
Proven experience in a similar FP&A or finance analyst role.
Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel (VBA and macros experience is a plus).
Previous experience with ERP systems (such as Exchequer, Oracle Netsuite) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
Highly analytical with a strong commercial mindset and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data effectively.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN) – SURREY – ONGOING CONTRACT – £42.51 - £47.71 PER HOUR ARM are working with a global consultancy, who are providing engineering and consultancy services to some of the largest projects and programmes of work in the UK and beyond. We are recruiting for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to support on their building design services client work on a contract basis and working hybrid from Surrey. About You: You will be a degree qualified engineer and will be Chartered with either IET or CIBSE. You will have experience and knowledge in energy reduction within building design and services and how decarbonisation can be implemented in schemes. You will have knowledge of energy and carbon data and analytics. You will have experience of working within a design consultancy or working within a contractor design environment. We can consider applications from both Senior and Principal Engineers for this role. What you will be doing: This position will see you working as part of the Building Services Design consultancy offering to a wide range of clients that include transportation, commercial, education, defence and others, focusing primarily on energy and carbon within design and working with clients to help delivery designs. This position is based in Surrey (inside the M25) and is working hybrid with time in the office and home based. Some travel to clients, may be required and this would be covered in expenses. The contract is expected to be long-term and working 40 hours per week. What you can expect in return: The rate for the position is based on level and experience and will be between £42.51 and £47.71 per hour (£340 - £381 per day approx.) Umbrella as has been deemed inside IR35. We can only consider those eligible to work in the UK for this role.
