Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Software Developer (JavaScript, Python), fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria.

The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises.
In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated and closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team, on-site.

Responsibility

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers, to further improve existing products while also prototyping new solutions.
Utilize expertise in front-end-development (e.g. Vue.js, React.js) and user experience design (UX).
Use Python to process and explore data of different types and integrate AI/ML components.
Leverage your experience in backend-development (e.g. Node.js) and common database technologies (e.g. SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and other quality assurance activities to ensure that software meets high standards of quality and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of software development, AI/ML and Generative AI, and share that knowledge with the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and relevant IT experience of at least 5 years.
3+ years of experience in front-end-development (e.g. JavaScript, Vue.js, React.js) and in Python programming.
Knowledge in backend development with Node.js and common database technologies (e.g. SQL Server, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
Experience with software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Excellent command of the English language.
