Are you a Software Engineer that wants to transition into DevOps or do you have a 2+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer that loves code?
Ocho are exclusively recruiting for a Software/DevOps Engineer to join this Cloud Security company, who not only have one of the best Development teams in Northern Ireland, they are also releasing product on a frequent basis for their extensive client base.
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments
· Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
· Enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability in cloud environments (AWS preferred, but Azure/GCP also welcome)
· Collaborate with Engineering teams to improve cloud architecture, security, and monitoring
· Maintain and improve containerised environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
· Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar)
· Drive best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps culture
Requirements:
· 3-5 years of DevOps, Software or Cloud Engineering experience
· Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.)
· Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerisation
· Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
· Familiarity with cloud security best practices
· Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
· Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
You must be based in Northern Ireland for this role, as the requirement is to work from the Belfast office 3 days a week.
