We are looking for a passionate Engineer who lives and breathes AWS Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-code to join a consultancy client of ours. .
1 day a month Manchester
£350/day Inside IR35
Initial 6-month contract
Essential Key Skills and Knowledge
Experienced Engineer working within an AWS environment
Knowledge of AWS CDK with TypeScript and AWS CodeBuild
Experience in driving the creation and refinement of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Familiar with leverage tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and InfluxDB to monitor, observe, and tune systems
Have a working knowledge of AWS CDK and Infrastructure-as-Code (desired)

Expertise in Landing Zones, Azure Well-Architected Framework, and Cloud Governance. Deep understanding of Azure networking, including Hub-Spoke architecture, Virtual Networks, and ExpressRoute. Kubernetes (AKS) experience, with hands-on expertise in Istio or other Kubernetes service mesh solutions. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform and Terraform modules. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, YAML builds, and Azure DevOps (Jira integration preferred).
