Are you passionate about Embedded systems and low-level software development? Do you want to work on cutting-edge technology, designing and optimizing software for next-generation devices? We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Linux systems, device drivers, and hardware interfaces to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain low-level software for Embedded systems, focusing on device drivers, bootloaders, and hardware initialization.
Work with Linux Kernel, including driver development and integration for various peripherals.
Collaborate on Yocto build environments to create customized Linux distributions for Embedded applications.
Work with U-Boot for bootloader customization and device initialization.
Implement and optimize device drivers, including those for HDMI to CSI chip and other video-related interfaces.
Support board bring-up activities and ensure smooth hardware-software interaction.
Work with device tree configurations for proper hardware abstraction.
Integrate and optimize networking protocols and support cellular communication modules.
Develop and optimize solutions for LonTium HDMI-to-CSI technologies and NXP i.MX8 series platforms.Required Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in C++ for low-level Linux development.
In-depth experience with device drivers, device trees, and U-Boot for Embedded Linux systems.
Familiarity with Yocto for building and customizing Embedded Linux distributions.
Hands-on experience with HDMI to CSI chip integration and video processing.
Experience with networking protocols and cellular communication technologies.
Solid experience in board bring-up and debugging at the hardware-software interface level.
Proven experience working with NXP i.MX8 series processors and platform-specific development.
Strong problem-solving skills, especially in performance optimization and hardware interaction.Desirable Skills:
Video experience, including video codecs, video interfaces, and Real Time streaming.

We are currently partnering with an HE organisation who are looking for a Business Lead own their technical solution used to produce the HESA Data Futures Student return and deliver further improvements.

Product manager – Mobile apps – London - £75,000 per annum
Product manager is required to join one the UKs leading energytech scale ups at an incredibly exciting stage of growth for the company. The company have been incredibly successful over the last few years with rapid growth and with a new business proposition for 2025 look set to continue on a rapid upward trajectory.
They are looking for a product manager to come on board and work across their two mobile apps, solving customer problems and working on new digital experiences. With the new business proposition that will be launching this year there will also be a lot of work tying in the work across the mobile apps with this new proposition. The role will sit withing a multi-disciplinary team across iOS and Android.
The position can pay up to £75,000 per annum and they are looking for someone who can work from the London office at least twice a week.
Key skills and responsibilities:
Must have experience working across mobile apps and have an appreciation of the nuances between iOS and Android
Demonstrable 0-1 experience
Be a self starter and have the ability to take ownership of a project and be responsible for the deliverables
Have an appreciation for backend development and have an understanding of API development
Be able to look at customer data and data at your disposal to make the best decisions for the product roadmap
Strong Agile experience
Ability to work in a tech focused scaleup
