Interim Group Head of 3rd Party Technology Risk
Location: Hybrid

An exciting executive opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Group Head of 3rd Party Technology Risk to join a leading global organisation within the insurance sector. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the company's third-party technology risk management framework, ensuring compliance, security, and operational resilience across its global network of technology partners.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight: Lead and refine the organisation’s 3rd party technology risk management strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the broader business goals.
Risk Management & Governance: Strengthen and manage the risk assessment process for third-party technology vendors, ensuring rigorous compliance with international standards and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside senior executives and key business functions, including IT, compliance, and procurement, to drive robust risk management practices.
Incident Response & Resilience: Lead the organisation's response to third-party incidents and ensure appropriate mitigation and recovery strategies are in place.
Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in third-party risk monitoring, due diligence processes, and reporting mechanisms to safeguard business operations.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in 3rd party technology risk management, IT risk, or cybersecurity within a highly regulated environment.
Expertise in regulatory frameworks.
Proven success in leading and influencing stakeholders at an executive level within a complex, global organisation.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and embed a third-party risk management framework.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify, assess, and communicate technology risks effectively.
