Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trading Floor Windows 11 Migration Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support during the migration to Windows 11 on our trading floor, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and applications. You will be the first point of contact for all IT issues related to migration, aiming to resolve desktop issues within one hour while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Based on the Trading Floor, you will collaborate closely with other Group IT areas to ensure incidents are resolved promptly and escalate any problems that could impact multiple users across the bank.
Responsibilities:
Coordinator of the Windows 11 migration project, tracking progress of timelines, gathering of information, issues tracking, and risk mitigation to ensure a smooth transition.
Work closely with IT teams, partners, and other business departments to ensure project and operational objectives are met
Upgrade trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Provide first-line technical support for the trading floor during the Windows 11 migration, responding promptly to requests and issues.
Troubleshoot Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data products.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support for trading applications.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector.
Proficiency with Windows 10 and 11, Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), SharePoint, and Teams.
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory and printers.
Basic troubleshooting skillset for Bloomberg, Refinitiv, 0365 and other market data-related applications.
Knowledge of Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, On Prem AD and Azure AD.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft SCCM, MDT.
Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and implementation.
In-depth understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, Networking, and Endpoint Security.
Experience with PowerShell and command-line scripts.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
