Duties:
1. Daily Tasks:
o Maintain a comprehensive list of vulnerabilities, including remediation or mitigation status.
o Update dataset within two working days after receiving change notifications.
2. Weekly Tasks:
o Deliver a comprehensive vulnerability report to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Service Owner (SAO).
o Provide risk assessment, remedial action recommendations, and current status.
3. Monthly Tasks:
o Submit an overview of critical/high vulnerabilities.
o Present graphical trends of security posture.
4. Yearly Tasks:
o Summarize all events and actions from the past year.
o Deliver the yearly report within 15 working days after year-end.
5. Operational Responsibilities:
o Support NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) with External Attack Surface Management.
o Assist in data analysis and reporting from Online Vulnerability Assessment (OVA).
o Monitor and assess internet-facing services for vulnerabilities.
o Ensure domain controllers' security to prevent exploitation.
o Participate in daily status update meetings and planning sessions.
o Submit retrospective sprint reports after each sprint cycle.
o Ensure deliverables meet NATO security and documentation standards.
6. Compliance and Coordination:
o Adhere to NATO security policies and confidentiality regulations.
o Work onsite in Mons, Belgium, with no remote work option.
o Maintain compliance with NATO high-side network security audit requirements.
Requirements:
1. Educational and Professional Background:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, security audits, or vulnerability assessment.
2. Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of cloud-based security best practices.
o Proficiency in assessing internet-facing assets for vulnerabilities and anomalies.
o Experience with threat intelligence, incident response, and security remediation.
o Familiarity with Tenable Identity Exposure software and Active Directory Security Assessment.
o Understanding of NATO cybersecurity regulations and standards.
3. Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
o CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
4. Security Clearance:
o COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance is mandatory.
5. Other Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
o Experience working with NATO, government, or defense entities (preferred).
6. Work Environment:
o Onsite presence required at SHAPE, Mons, Belgium.
o Provided with NATO IT equipment.
o Compliance with NATO CIS operational rules and regulations.
