A global, leading investment firm (trading for almost 30 years) that specializes in quantitative investing and data science is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their London office. The SRE team here leads engineering and operational support for the funds algo trading activities. The fund has experienced year on year growth for the last 3 years and is continuing to span regions and strategies.

You'll be working closely with both the business and development teams across the firm, covering everything from data ingestion and quant platform through to execution and post-trade activities.

Maintain stability and reliability for essential production systems supporting our Investment Strategy and Execution teams.
Enhance the companies technology infrastructure to align with ambitious and dynamic business goals.
Address user-reported issues promptly and effectively, diagnosing root causes and implementing measures to avoid recurrence.
Assist in advancing the firms integration with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) to deliver scalable and flexible resources for research.
Actively improve monitoring and alerting frameworks to ensure system health visibility and enable swift action during performance issues.
Take part in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical global operations.
