Harrington Starr Security Architect to join one of our key banking clients in a newly created role. The company are going through huge growth and transformation in their cyber security roadmap

The role is based in London (city)
Some of the key activities will include:
Developing and maintaining secure frameworks
Design and implement secure solutions to protects systems and data
Work with the wider enterprise architecture and engineering teams to embed security controls into projects
Provide guidance to the business on cyber security and risk management best practice
Conduct regular threat analyses and assess infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
Leading security projects to ensure effective implementation into the business
Staying abreast of all cyber industry trends and attacker techniques to help protect the business

In order to be suitable you will need:

A strong technical cyber security background with at least five years as a Security Architect within the financial services sector
Strong knowledge of cyber security\ resilience frameworks including ISO27001, NIST and Dora
Strong understanding of defensive security, attack methodologies network security and cloud security
Proficiency in using SIEM tools, specifically Splunk, IDS/IPS, Next Gen firewalls, security protocols including SSL, HTTPS, SSH, PGP, PKI, and/or Kerberos.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Industry certifications (CISSP\ CISM) highly desirable

IT Security Engineer Hybrid working, with one day per week in office in East Sussex or Oxford areas. Stratospherec is recruiting for a new IT Security Engineer role for a leading European retail company located in East Sussex and across the UK.
