Job Description
Harrington Starr are seeking a Senior Security Architect with extensive experience of securing M365 applications, who can act as an SME in this area on a global basis

This role is part of this global organisation’s huge investment in cyber and will join an architecture team with SMEs in other area

The firm are based in Belfast, but we are open to candidates to work on a remote basis with occasional trips to the Head Office

A brief overview of what the role involves on a day-to-day basis includes:

Taking ownership of the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure M365 environment
Act as SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365
Embed security controls within to the M365 environment
Future scope the security of the organisation’s M365 estate
Manage senior level stakeholders internally and externally

In order to be considered you will need

Experience in a security architecture role with an emphasis on M365 with Strong security design skills
Experience of Microsoft Purview integrated data security services including data encryption, classification, and labelling Familiar with Microsoft Sentinel
Extensive Microsoft Defender experience
Experience of integrating Identity and Access Management controls into an M365 environment
Any of the following qualifications highly desirable - MS-500, AZ500, SC-900 & SC-4000
CISSP certification highly desirable

Job Description
Harrington Starr Security Architect to join one of our key banking clients in a newly created role. The company are going through huge growth and transformation in their cyber security roadmap

The role is based in London (city)
Some of the key activities will include:
Developing and maintaining secure frameworks
Design and implement secure solutions to protects systems and data
Work with the wider enterprise architecture and engineering teams to embed security controls into projects
Provide guidance to the business on cyber security and risk management best practice
Conduct regular threat analyses and assess infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
Leading security projects to ensure effective implementation into the business
Staying abreast of all cyber industry trends and attacker techniques to help protect the business

In order to be suitable you will need:

A strong technical cyber security background with at least five years as a Security Architect within the financial services sector
Strong knowledge of cyber security\ resilience frameworks including ISO27001, NIST and Dora
Strong understanding of defensive security, attack methodologies network security and cloud security
Proficiency in using SIEM tools, specifically Splunk, IDS/IPS, Next Gen firewalls, security protocols including SSL, HTTPS, SSH, PGP, PKI, and/or Kerberos.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Industry certifications (CISSP\ CISM) highly desirable

You'll be working for a Top-tier financial institution who is looking for you to join as a Front Office Business Analyst. Using your Treasury experience to work closely with users, gather requirements, and drive system improvements. You’ll bridge the gap between traders and technology, ensuring smooth communication and effective delivery of projects.
The Role:
Work directly with Treasury users, gathering requirements and defining functional specs
Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring smooth delivery and stakeholder alignment
Liaise with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Support system enhancements, workflow improvements, and process automation
Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards
What You Need:
Experience working front-office with Treasury users
Strong Business Analysis + Project Management skills
Ability to communicate between business and engineering teams
Knowledge of third-party trading platforms (ION Trading is a plus)
