Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Power Consultant to join our team, covering Midlands, London and South of England. This role offers the opportunity to work with a market leader in energy management and automation, delivering high-quality projects and solutions for our clients.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver chargeable design solutions and power system studies (e.g., load flow, protection coordination, harmonics).
Analyze customer requirements and provide accurate, profitable quotations.
Audit electrical networks, providing detailed findings and recommendations.
Develop functional design specifications and engineering solutions tailored to client needs.
Offer technical advice on equipment selection and usage.
Collaborate with sales, tendering, and project execution teams.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in design/protection/power systems engineering.
Proficient in power system diagnostic tools (ETAP, ERACS, PSCAD, etc.).
Strong communication skills and customer focus.
Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel.
Desirable: Chartered Engineer status or membership of a relevant institution.
