We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with extensive experience of data migrations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, translating complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications, driving the successful migration of legacy systems to a modern cloud platform. You will analyse complex data requirements, ensure alignment with business needs, and collaborate closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to deliver a seamless data migration solution.

Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience in data migration projects successfully migrating legacy systems/databases to a cloud platform (Azure)
Ability to conduct requirement based interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and analyse data migration business requirements
Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories, use cases, and process flows.
Create comprehensive end-to-end best practice customer journey maps.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including data mapping, transformation rules, and validation processes.
Experience with technical concepts, including ETL processes, APIs, and cloud data architecture (AZURE)
Experience of BI and data reporting tools. Experience with Power BI desirable
Work alongside data engineers and developers to create detailed mapping specifications for migrating data from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and prioritise requirements
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., DevOps, Visio)
Must have insurance and or financial services experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
