I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Retailer in Nottingham for a Reward Expert to join on a contractual basis

2/3-month contract initially with a view to extend

We are essentially looking to engage with a Rewards Professional who has worked in a large retail environment, analysing rewards, benefits and pay policies and making recommendations.

In this role you will be reviewing current pay structures and methodologies and making recommendations for improvements, recommending process simplifications around core reward processes and general all-around reward / benefits improvements.

Responsibilities:

Review current pay structures and methodologies and recommendations for improvements. To include review and recommendations on:
Market range approach and data sources
Pay progression principles
Support office pay structures
Impact of national living wage and pay compression

Create a roadmap for organisations journey to pay transparency. To include recommendations on:
Job evaluation
Pay progression
Pay policies
Current risks
Opportunities
Narrative

Recommendations for process simplification around core reward processes, using existing systems infrastructure

The organisation is located in Nottingham, they offer hybrid working – ideally like you to be onsite once/twice a week depending on your location

The role falls inside of IR35 so you’d need to work via an umbrella company- we currently have a PSL

Job Description
Storage Engineer - Data Centre Migration project What is the role? One of our financial services clients is looking to hire an experienced Storage Engineer to play a pivotal role in the migration to a new data centre on an initial 12-month contract. This role is essential in building and consolidating a centralised storage infrastructure for the firm, integrating multiple storage arrays, and setting up a NetBackup infrastructure at both the new and existing locations. What will you do? You will collaborate with application teams to plan and execute seamless data and backup migrations, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal business disruption. Support existing storage migrations in other global regions Consolidate storage infrastructure from Dell EMC, Dell Fujitsu, and Pure Storage arrays on to the Hitachi strategic storage platform Conduct SAN and NAS migrations, with potential involvement in object storage migrations. Manage remote data centre storage operations and upgrades, including Brocade SAN switch upgrades. Some additional BAU support will also be needed Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work out of hours, primarily on Friday evenings and Saturdays, with at least three Saturdays per month expected. Most production system migrations will take place on weekends to minimise business disruption. Compensation will include either additional pay or time off in lieu for weekend work. What will you need? Expertise in storage migration and restoration processes. Hitachi storage solutions experience Brocade SAN switches knowledge Cohesity (formerly Veritas NetBackup) Jira Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server is beneficial but not mandatory AWS knowledge is a plus but not essential.
