Portfolio Delivery Manager – Digital Solutions, Enterprise, Operations, Transformation, Technology – Contract - London - paying up to £800/day Inside IR35

My client, a leading market research and data analytics organisation, is seeking an Enterprise Digital Solutions Portfolio Delivery Manager. This is a contract position based in their London office for an initial 6 months, with the intention to extend.

You will be responsible for delivering complex programmes across multiple teams. This role requires managing significant technical and operational risks while supporting the Product Managers to ensure the successful delivery of critical outcomes. Strong governance and oversight of portfolio, finance, CRM (MS Dynamics), Procurement, HR (Workday), and all technology projects within these verticals is essential.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in:

Experience of being a Portfolio Delivery Manager within a large scale organisation
Developing and managing business cases, particularly with Technology
Chairing steering committees across multiple business lines
Enterprise-scale delivery of complex programmes of work
Working with both agile and waterfall environments

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale project for a leading Data & Analytics organisation in London.

Job Description
Minimum 3 month contract (likelihood of extension) Outside IR35 £45 - £55 per hour. Reporting to the MES Manager, the purpose of your role will be to analyse, design, specify, install and commission new solutions and provide continuing support and development for the Process Control (Level2) systems, to ensure maximum efficiency, throughput and yield of plant processes. Experience in legacy system (FORTRAN and OpenVMS) will be advantageous What we need to know about you To be successful in this role you will have a relevant degree in engineering or computer science and have experience in a similar role with a strong experience knowledge of software development techniques, computer languages (Python and .NET), databases (MS SQL and MySQL) and operating systems, networks, hardware, and software tools. The ability to work at a very detailed level during fault finding is essential. You will be well versed in the complex and ever-changing computer hardware, software and communications technologies, and knowledge of and experience with various statistical and mathematical modelling and optimisation techniques and software tools would be beneficial. Ability to work in a team or independently and can start from the initial concept to final delivery of the project. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly at all levels with both internal and external contacts is a critical skill. Prior experience in supporting manufacturing systems in an industrial context would be a distinct advantage.
