System Integration Tester - Investment Banking – 6 month contract - £640 p/day inside IR35
Overview:
My client who are a global financial services organisation, are looking for 3x System Integration Testers to work on an exciting, innovative transformation bringing together Banking and Security businesses across the EU.
We are looking for someone with extensive Loans and Trade Remittance experience, with a deep understanding of Financial Markets, Risk and Control frameworks, and SWIFT messaging.
Role and Responsibilities:
End-to-End System Integration Testing
Validation of Business Processes and Workflows
Integration with External Systems (Banking, Payment Gateways, Regulatory Systems)
Data Integrity and Security testing
Performance and Load Testing – ensure the loan and trade remittance systems can handle high volumes of transactions.
Data flows between systems without errors or data loss.
Ensure that various components of the system (loans and remittance modules) work well together.
All required external systems (e.g., banks, clearinghouses, regulatory authorities) are correctly integrated.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Loans and Trade Remittance experience – This is a key requirement
Deep understanding of financial markets, trading platforms and instruments (equities, fixed income derivatives)
Familiarity with Order management systems
Understanding of risk and control frameworks
Understand trade capture, trade lifecycle management
Settlement process, including clearing and matching
Familiarity with SWIFT messaging
Post trade processes like corporate actions, collateral management and payment processing
Familiarity with Trade Reporting
Experience with Audit, compliance reporting
Data warehousing

Primary Responsibilities This position is responsible for Research, Design, Documentation, Installation, Commissioning and Test of virtualized compressed IP-based video origination and distribution systems, along with related sub-systems for linear and streaming delivery via satellite and terrestrial fiber. Responsible for end-to-end fulfillment of assigned projects and tasks, including installation, configuration and commissioning of video equipment and software applications. Coordinates in-house and third-party resources to fulfill system integration tasks for documentation, fabrication and installation. Collaborates with in-house technical support teams to perform system acceptance testing and training. Basic Qualifications The candidate must possess the following knowledge, experience, and talents: Experience in the design, build, and commissioning of technical systems for broadcast playout, distribution, and live streaming via IP. Knowledge of baseband HD/SD video, compressed video/audio encoding, IP transport stream distribution, in-band and out-of-band metadata payloads, OTT streaming architecture, and IP networking principles including multicast. Proven ability to test and qualify compressed video transport streams and compression technologies at the packet level, including MPEG-4 H.264, HEVC H.265, MPEG-2 and JPEG-2000. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, test tools and applications used in the acceptance testing of compressed video streams Additional Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following preferred technical skills, professional qualities, additional knowledge, and experience: Knowledge and experience in scripting, process automation, data acquisition, measurement and analysis tools Familiarity with video encryption and conditional access systems for content protection, broadcast and infrastructure monitoring and control systems, and Ethernet network topologies.
