Our client is a world renowned tech conglomerate that has revolutionized social networking, virtual reality, and digital communication and they have an immediate requirement for an Editorial Content Specialist to join their team not only to moderate content but to also edit content to help surface the best content to improve user experience and help improve the company's GenAI applications.
What's on offer
Fully remote in the UK
12 month contract with possibility for extension
£70-80k salary inside IR35 PAYE
What you will do:
You will review a range of content, including credible news, entertainment and short-form video (SFV) from a diverse set of publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators and influencers to aid in surfacing the best content and conversations on the company's platforms.
You will review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency
You will collaborate with our internal content and product teams to improve user experience
What you need to succeed:
You need to have experience in moderating content against guidelines AND the ability to distinguish what is "good content" for the platform to entertain and engage users.
You need to have experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media alongside deep knowledge of the social media landscape and SFV content
You need to have excellent skill in editorial strategy and what makes digital content great

Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: SCADA experience - Electricity Transmission (preferably OSI Monarch but others considered) - Previous experience of SCADA and Real-Time Control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems) is essential but will consider comparable Industry Products. At least worked on one project in SCADA for Power Utility in Testing. Testing knowledge including integration middleware - Oracle MFT and Mulesoft APIs. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards). Agile methodology work experience. Any Test management tool (Ex: JIRA, HP-ALM] hands-on. Work experience in Power utility Transmission networks in Alarm Management, work pack management and change management. Strong experience testing such as SIT, SAT& FAT. Strong test design, development, and documentation skills – creating test cases, scenarios, defect management.
