Job Specifications
Bonhill Partners are currently supporting a leading investment bank in their search for a highly skilled Windows Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their Infrastructure team in London. This role is ideal for an experienced Windows specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment and is passionate about automation, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline infrastructure management and deployments.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of Windows-based systems.
Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to optimize Windows environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues proactively.
Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging for production systems.
Requirements
Extensive experience in a Windows environment, including performance tuning and optimization.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and process improvement.
Expertise in Active Directory administration, including group policies, security, and authentication.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
