Job Title: DevOps Engineer – iDL Digital Products
About Us:
Our client partners with leading organizations to deliver innovative digital solutions. Our mission is to ensure efficient, automated, and secure deployment of digital products while adhering to industry best practices. We’re currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the implementation of DevOps practices for the iDL Digital Products domain.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and optimize continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes through automation to enable timely and fully automated deployments of iDL Digital Products.
Develop and enhance DevOps practices, fostering collaboration between development, maintenance, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure environment processes and tools align with automation goals while adhering to EUROCONTROL’s ICT security, compliance, and data protection standards.
Review and approve software and documentation delivered by external providers to ensure alignment with technical and functional requirements.
Ensure all deliverables meet relevant industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with external providers and internal teams using agile methodologies to achieve project success.
Monitor compliance with development processes and maintain detailed records of reviews, approvals, and required modifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to external providers to align with project goals and standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and integration processes.
Technical Competencies
Proficiency in Java to assess and review backend and frontend applications.
Strong understanding of API standards (REST, WebService) and OpenAPI.
Proven expertise in Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment.
Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and custom tool development.
Experience using Maven for managing Java project dependencies and build processes.
Advanced skills in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull request management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus) and logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack) to ensure system reliability and performance.
Experience with Azure services for application deployment and management.
Strong knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including securing CI/CD pipelines, managing secrets, and ensuring compliance.
