Highly Prestigious European Consultancy, based in Brussels looking for an Incident Manager.
Job Summary
As the Incident Manager, you will take ownership of the incident management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and coordinate all aspects of incident management, ensuring swift and effective resolution of incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management:
Coordinate and oversee technical incident management across the organization.
Manage the reception, recording, and classification of incidents from users and monitoring tools.
Assess impact and urgency to prioritize incidents based on organizational goals and service levels.
Respond promptly to incidents, evaluating their effects on operations and client services.
Ensure thorough documentation of each incident, including actions taken and lessons learned.
Analyze recurring incidents to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident management processes and tools.
Communication:
Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders, including users, technical teams, management, and clients, regarding incident resolution progress.
Technical Team Management:
Lead and coordinate technical teams to ensure efficient incident resolution and prompt service restoration.
Performance Monitoring:
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for incident management effectiveness.
Analyze incident data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Propose and implement corrective actions to enhance the incident management process.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related field.
Proven experience in managing technical incidents in complex IT/network environments.
Strong knowledge of incident management processes and best practices.
Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents.
Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making skills.
ITIL certification is a plus.
Familiarity with ServiceNow is advantageous.
