Experienced Software Engineerneeded for our Fintech Client in Edinburgh, for an initial 3-month contract. Our client is looking for a talented Software Engineer with extensive AWS experience and API Gateway Development experienceto join their team.
The role is Outside IR35 and is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Edinburgh.If you're available now/at short notice and familiar with innovative FinTech solutions, we're keen to hear from you!
Role Overview: As an experienced Software Engineer (AWS, API, Back-End), you will be required to play a crucial role in developing/enhancing new services, ensuring high-quality, secure, and fit-for-purpose code that meets business and architectural requirements etc.
To be successful, skills & experience should include:Extensive Software Development & API Development experience, ideally with a focus on innovative FinTech Solutions
Proficiency in AWS services (Amazon Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3) with the ability to create an API Gateway
Additional knowledge/experience with mTLS authentication, OAuth, RESTful API development (Open API, JSON Schema)
Strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda)
Experience with relational databases (MySQL on AWS Aurora) etc
Previous experience in the Financial Services/FinTech sector
