Fully Remote (or Glasgow/Newcastle)
A large & leading financial services organisation is currently seeking 4 x Service Introduction Managers to join their teams, creating and maintaining structured, controlled approaches for introducing new services.
To be successful, candidates should have the following knowledge & experience:
Demonstrable & direct knowledge of Services Introduction
Experience with Release Management & Deployment processes
Previous Service Introduction experience within other large & established Financial Services or Banking organisations
Backgrounds & full-understanding in Service Management, Service Introduction Management & Release Management etc
Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services with ITIL qualifications
1st class communication & Stakeholder Management skills

Release Managerneeded for our Banking Client in Glasgow (remote) for an initial 6-month engagement. The role requires a strongRelease Managerwith demonstrable experience in implementation and deployment managementand ideally a background in Software Testing, including testing methodologies.
Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company, the maximum rate is £331 per day to Umbrella, and the role can be worked fully remotely, though there may be a requirement for very occasional travel to Glasgow. There may be a requirement to work occasional weekends during critical deployment phases.
In addition to prior Release Management and Software Testing experience, candidates should understand Project Management methodologies, such as Prince2 and Agile) and an understanding of Service Management (ITIL). Any prior Financial Services experience would be an advantage but isn't a necessity.
Key Skills:
Extensive experience of Release Management including implementation and deployment management, delivering quality releases on budget and on time.
Strong industry led background in Software Testing, including knowledge of testing management methodologies (eg ISEB)
In depth understanding of the testing life cycle and all testing phases
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (eg PRINCE2, Agile)
Strong understanding of service management methodologies (eg ITIL)
Experience of engaging with multi-disciplined technical teams
Experience of managing stakeholders across all Departments
