**Job Title** Principal Solutions Architect – Contract **Role Summary** Senior architect responsible for designing and delivering enterprise‑level cloud and infrastructure solutions across a financial services organization. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on design, and stakeholder engagement to align deployments with enterprise standards and a cloud‑first vision. **Expactations** - Lead the architectural design of solutions on Azure, AWS, Salesforce, and SaaS platforms. - Champion cloud‑first strategies, covering IaaS, PaaS, and foundational services. - Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure deployments meet architectural governance and security standards. - Represent infrastructure considerations in solution design and governance forums. - Produce detailed architecture documentation for implementation and operations. - Communicate technical vision effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and C‑suite executives. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design enterprise‑scale cloud and infrastructure solutions across Azure, AWS, Salesforce, and SaaS. 2. Drive adoption of cloud‑first principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and foundational services. 3. Partner with global and regional teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices. 4. Advocate infrastructure perspectives in solution design and governance discussion. 5. Deliver comprehensive architecture documentation for implementation and operational teams. 6. Articulate technical vision and strategy to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including C‑suite stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Proven experience as a Principal Architect or Senior Solutions Architect in IT architecture and cloud transformation. - Deep expertise in at least two of the following domains: Cloud (Public/Private), Infrastructure, Networking, Security, SaaS, Virtualization, Storage, with a focus on cloud. - Strong grasp of service integration, application architecture, and SaaS implementation. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) are strongly preferred.
