Senior Splunk Engineer - Splunk ITSI & Observability Platform - Splunk, ITSI, JavaScript, OpenTelemetry
We are seeking an experienced Splunk Engineer for a contract position, to lead teams in our client's Splunk ITSI and Observability Platform development. The role is remote and focuses on building and optimising a cutting-edge Splunk Observability Platform using the latest technologies.
As the Splunk Engineer, you will lead the development of a new Splunk Observability Platform that integrates with Splunk ITSI, leveraging the OpenTelemetry (Otel) agent. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, design software solutions, and ensure seamless integration. Your leadership will be critical in managing deadlines, scope, and risk, while fostering a collaborative environment to build strong teams.
Key Technologies:
Expertise in Splunk ITSI and its core functionalities.
Experience in integrating Splunk Add-ons as data sources.
Proficiency with OpenTelemetry (Otel) to send telemetry data to Splunk.
Familiarity with developing and optimising observability platforms.
Experience in leading the design, setup, and rollout of complex IT observability solutions.
Experience with Adaptive Thresholds and Predictive Analysis in Splunk ITSI.
This is an influential leadership position with the opportunity to drive the development of innovative Splunk Observability solutions.
