SAP Analyst (Buying Process) - 6 months - Hybrid - Inside IR35
Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Analyst with expertise in buying process transformations, to join a leading retail organisation for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week required onsite in Nottingham for close collaboration with developers, analysts, and testers. This position is confirmed inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensure data readiness, and contribute to training content development.
Support the programme testing and cutover phases through to go-live and hypercare.
Document and analyse the buying process requirements.
Provide critical inputs to training and business readiness tasks, ensuring alignment with programme goals.
Collaborate with consultants to ensure business requirements are translated accurately into SAP configurations.
What You Will Ideally Bring
Expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, particularly in Goods (GNFR - Indirect Procurement).
In-depth knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, including the latest technologies and functionalities.
Procurement or buying experience with a focus on process and systems change projects.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders and build strong business relationships.
Ability to balance high-level strategic goals with detailed project execution to ensure programme success.
