This Head of Technology opportunity is to join a growing financial services organisation, who are going through a large amount of change. Your will report to the CDTO and you will be a key player, transforming technology for the business.
This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple critical areas of technology and business operations, focusing on improving processes and driving the migration from Legacy systems to a cutting-edge cloud environment. Your responsibilities will span Software Engineering/Development, IT Security, IT Service Delivery, and Environment Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the organisation's technology transformation, steering the migration from older Oracle systems to Salesforce.
Build strong relationships across the business and technology teams to ensure smooth and effective technology change initiatives.
Act as a technical expert, collaborating with IT teams to design new infrastructure while supporting development, QA, and Security.
Leverage your experience in cloud environments (Azure experience is a plus) to guide the transition to a modern platform.
Ensure the organization is operationally ready for new technologies and processes.
We're looking for:
Proven leadership experience in technology transformation, with a strong preference for experience in Salesforce or other SaaS platforms.
Expertise in cloud technologies, with Azure knowledge being highly desirable.
Strong understanding of operational readiness and its importance in technology transitions.
Domain experience in insurance or financial services is preferred, but we welcome candidates with relevant experience from other industries.
You will receive:
Salary up to £140,000
Extremely competitive benefits package that includes up to 20% bonus, private medical, 10% pension
Hybrid working - 2/3 days in the office a week
