Business Intelligence Analyst
Hybrid role based in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium
6 month contract initially
Responsibilities
Design and structure database architectures to support organizational needs.
Evaluate user requirements for decision-making processes to develop and model database solutions.
Recommend and implement technical approaches to establish decision-support systems.
Establish strategies to safeguard data security and confidentiality for internal users and external clients.
Build and manage relational and multidimensional databases, data warehouses, data dictionaries (data marts), data integration tools (ETL, EDI), reporting platforms, data mining systems, and business intelligence frameworks.
Create and enforce development standards, guidelines, and best practices for relational database systems.
Contribute as a subject matter expert to ICT department initiatives, offering specialized knowledge in relevant areas.
Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the seamless operation and availability of data systems, monitor technology trends, and conduct regular system reviews to ensure business continuity.
Profile background
Education: Degree in IT with a specialization in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Architecture.
Languages: Proficiency in French and English.
Database Expertise:
Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL programming, T-SQL, ETL (SSIS), and reporting (SSRS).
Data warehousing technologies, particularly SSAS.

- For a customer in Brussels, I am searching for a Cloud Security Engineer/Architect to drive the development of a robust security architecture for a multicloud environment - their environment is mainly AWS but there is also a smaller Azure aspect. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to safeguard our cloud infrastructure. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our cloud operations meet the highest security standards while addressing challenges and delivering effective solutions. Responsibilities Develop and implement security architecture strategies tailored to a multicloud (AWS/Azure) environment. Determine and enforce appropriate security controls and measures to protect cloud assets and data. Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. Provide expert advice on the integration and deployment of security solutions in collaboration with the Cloud Team. Take full ownership of cloud security features, solutions, and their effectiveness. Address vulnerabilities, risks, and incidents proactively. Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration tests. Analyze findings and recommend improvements.
