Our client within retail is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to join their existing Architecture Team. You'll be working within an established architecture function, Embedded into their ServiceNow Platform team, accountable for the ServiceNow solution and platform architecture. You will be solely focused on supporting the advancement of our ServiceNow platform, across our colleague, supplier and IT service management use cases.
Your Role?
Lead the design and governance of solutions within ServiceNow, being an enabled and authoritative technical leader.
Experience in the Retail sector, or at least operating as an Architect in large enterprise environments desirable but not essential.
You will have extensive experience of working within ServiceNow at an architect level and feel confident in setting technical direction and governing ServiceNow platforms.
Experience in collaborating with wider architecture communities and ServiceNow products teams, other technical roles and third-party delivery partners
Familiar with working at an enterprise scale defining innovative and fit for purpose solutions
Knowledge of core technology led Service concepts such as Service Design, Management, Operations/Offerings as primary capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
Understanding of the conceptual difference between application and platform architecture, due to the need to work effectively across both domains.
Experience in solution and technical design within ServiceNow, with a real passion for current technology trends.
Strong grasp of different integration design patterns and technologies, enabling ServiceNow to function within an Enterprise IT environment
Risk identification and mitigation, quantification and qualification of non-functional and functional requirements.
Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that is relevant, easy to consume and compelling.
Ability to present at Design Authority and other decision-making forums, and gain consensus from a variety of stakeholders.
