I am looking for an experienced 1st/2nd line technical support analyst to join my client who are a leading London Makret Insurer.
This role will include general support, Setting up new starters/leavers, Support of Laptops and PC's, Fixing technical issues for users.
Team fit is important for this role, somebody who is willing to get stuck in and happy to be in the office with the team.
Microsoft tech stack - Windows, Azure, SharePoint, Citrix, Intune (Endpoint Manager), Access Management

Senior Associate - Infra Unix Support - server patching, Linux backups, server builds, BAU Service What you will be doing: Provide operational shift support for Production, Test and Development Linux Infrastructure. Responsibilities include Linux backup/restores, daily health checks, maintenance tasks, break/fix, server builds and server patching. Ensure that the BAU service is prioritised and all incidents, problems and service requests are responded to in an efficient manner without negatively impacting SLA's and reporting metrics in place. Work closely with 3rd party vendors to provide support for products such as RedHat Linux, Veritas Cluster Server, etc. Investigate defects or problems; work with internal teams and external vendors to Identify solutions and support any fixes that are required as part of service improvement. Participate in periodic corporate Disaster Recovery testing activities. Follow the Change Management procedure and other standard practices in installing, configuring and supporting Linux Infrastructure, Veritas Cluster Server and related items in Dev, Test and Prod environments. Upgrade or maintain software at a time when the impact to the business is minimised. Execute the failover for the Linux and application services as required. Create, maintain and review operational process and support documentation. Perform daily/weekly/quarterly system checks. Ensure any issues identified are tracked and addressed. Participate in planned weekend work as required and as part of the on-call responsibilities Support periodic patching activity(usually quarterly) What we're looking for: Possess a strong service-oriented mind set who can consistently deliver a high level of service to the business.
