Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloudbees CD/RO SME with over 15 years of overall experience, including expertise in Continuous Delivery (CD) and Release Orchestration (RO) using Cloudbees solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with leading financial institutions to drive automation, enhance release management processes, and enable seamless delivery pipelines.
As a Cloudbees CD/RO SME, you will lead the implementation and optimization of Continuous Delivery and Release Orchestration practices within our organization, ensuring efficient deployment pipelines, high-quality releases, and timely delivery of software updates to clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and IT, to drive improvements in deployment workflows, automation, and overall software delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize CloudBees Continuous Delivery (CD) and Release Orchestration (RO) solutions to enhance software release cycles and streamline deployment pipelines.
Work directly with leading financial institutions to implement and integrate CloudBees CD/RO solutions, addressing specific client needs for scalable, automated, and efficient delivery.
Provide subject matter expertise to ensure the successful design, configuration, and execution of release pipelines, leveraging CloudBees tools and best practices.
Ensure smooth coordination between development, testing, and operations teams, facilitating automated build and deployment processes across multiple environments.
Lead the adoption and enhancement of CI/CD practices within the organization, promoting automation, speed, and reliability in software delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define release and deployment strategies, minimizing downtime, and improving the quality and speed of software releases.
Troubleshoot complex release issues and recommend solutions for improving deployment processes, mitigating risks, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Mentor and guide team members on best practices for continuous integration, deployment automation, and CloudBees toolset usage.
Ensure alignment with industry standards, security practices, and compliance requirements for financial institutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, reliability, and security of software delivery pipelines.
Key Requirements:
15+ years of overall experience in software delivery, with a significant focus on Continuous Delivery (CD) and Release Orchestration (RO) practices.
Expertise in CloudBees CD/RO solutions, including CloudBees Jenkins, CloudBees CI, and related automation and orchestration tools.
Proven experience working with leading financial institutions to implement and optimize CloudBees solutions and CI/CD pipelines for scalable and secure deployments.
Strong understanding of software development and deployment processes, including build automation, continuous integration, and release management.
Demonstrated ability to drive automation and streamline release pipelines to deliver high-quality software faster and more reliably.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in release and deployment workflows.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to security, compliance, and governance in a financial services context.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (eg, MBA, Master's in Computer Science) or relevant certifications.
Familiarity with financial products, services, and regulations.
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.
