Project Manager | Cost Estimation / SaaS / Software Consulting
A specialist construction cost engineering practice with expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure is looking to hire a Project Manager to join the company in Manchester.
Responsibilities:
General
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting effective communication and knowledge-sharing
Coach and mentor project team members to develop their professional and project delivery skills, in collaboration with other TSD leaders.
Adhere to business processes and policies including time-sheeting and use of the project management tools.
Identify opportunities to improve our engagement with clients and our products.
Pre-sales
Engage with Sales to take timely and effective handover of the client relationship leading into implementation
Review the Scope of Works and Requirements to ensure a consistent understanding of the project and identify activities for the project plan.
Implementation
Align the project team and client stakeholders on project scope, goals, and implementation deliverables.
Manage the customer expectations regarding scope, project progress against deliverables and timeline, risks and issues.
Maintain a project plan in the agreed systems, including effort estimates and resource scheduling.
Key Experience:
5+ years experience in Project Management including stakeholder management, risk and issue management and use of project methodologies.
Ability to direct and bring together technical resources as one team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build rapport but also resolve conflicts and negotiate with stakeholders.

You will be working closely with the finance team and will be responsible for understanding and assessing the changing needs within this part of the business as they are currently rearchitecting their General Ledger and act as a bridge between technical and finance teams. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise within the specialty insurance market and experience working closely with finance teams, ideally previously being part of a finance transformation. The role is permanent, paying up to £70,000 base + benefits and requires 3 days a week working from their London office.
