A Service Owneris required for a global Lloyd's Market insurance organisation based in the city of London. The business are at the forefront of insurance technology and are a market leader at Lloyd's. This role would cover the specialist insurance technology area and you should come from an insurance and specialty insurance background.
Role: As the Service Owner you will be tasked with overseeing the performance of the insurance-based application services portfolio, you will come from a background managing enterprise applications for insurance IT, and you will be an expert in SQL based applications, as well as a good team player working within the context of a large global business. The organisation will be embarking on a new Guidewire implementation project and therefore some background in Guidewire applications would be helpful in the short term, as well as experience recruiting and developing successful IT teams across development, support and change.
Skills:
Experience managing insurance based application services and enterprise applications
Highly proficient in SQL and Scripting
Proven working with exec level stakeholders and translating needs into IT solutions
Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally insurance based regulations.
Experience in a team management position, as well as in recruiting team members across IT teams.
