Bij nieuwe installaties, zet je onze klant op weg naar Industrie 4.0 door onze Reynaers software en calculatie pakketten in zijn productieproces te integreren.
Je ondersteunt en begeleidt je klant bij het proces en gebruik van onze software- en calculatiepakketten en het linken met zijn CNC-machines, ook in het buitenland (20% reizen).
Je rolt onze software uit bij onze klanten, je geeft training en zorgt dat ze hem snel onder de knie krijgen.
Je test de nieuwste softwareversies/-patches en vertelt het ons als je bugs ontdekt.
Storing? Jij gaat na hoe dringend en complex die is, en volgt ze op van melding tot oplossing.

Worldwide, the family business belongs to the A-brands in the field of aluminium and steel façade systems and roof solutions. Since 1 December 2020, Agentor N.V. has been strengthening our team. Agentor handles the sale of Forster steel systems in the Netherlands. From Helmond, an enthusiastic team of more than a hundred people offers support to architects, contractors, façade builders and roofers, or in other words: the entire Dutch construction column.

Your key responsibilities:
The responsibilities are multidisciplinary. You will participate in engineering research projects about natural ventilation, bomb blast, thermal insulation, earthquake, fire, structural strength, energy performance of buildings and acoustics. You are closely involved in ongoing projects and you realise a number of key projects yourself.
You have a close collaboration with experts in these fields (universities, research centers,…) and follow up or coordinate research projects carried out by the external experts. You translate the results and knowledge from these studies into solutions for Reynaers.
You work together with the different R&D teams in Belgium and the different foreign subsidiaries.
You perform regularly simulations (FEM) and calculations. Some examples:
Defining maximum dimensions and weights
Design optimization based on acting stresses and displacements
Improvement of thermal insulation
Estimation and calculation of acoustic performance based on test results
Giving advice about bomb blast and earthquake resistance
Is a test needed? Then you organize it and analyse the results. Or even more interesting: you carry out the test yourself (e.g. tensile testing bench) in our Technology Centre.
During the different development phases you support the colleagues in the Development team by creatively thinking along with them and giving advice or solutions.
You spread knowledge within the Reynaers group to support the sales of our products.
You follow market trends (low energy buildings, ventilation, FEM simulation, digitalization, process automation...) and make proposals for engineering projects or work method improvements.
You regularly follow training courses, both internally and externally, so that you are always up to date with new developments and technologies.Your profile:
You have a master’s degree in engineering.
You have a strong interest in everything that has to do with simulations, energy, acoustics, strength, automation of processes, …
You can work analytical and independent. You put great importance to both theoretical calculations as well as practical testing.
You are a fluent communicator, both in Dutch and English, and a dedicated team player.
You don’t lose track of your objectives and are excellent in finding solutions when challenges appear.
You are outstanding in project and time management. You manage to handle different tasks.

At Reynaers Aluminium we go above and beyond to support our clients, architects, and investors. Through our open and proactive collaborations, we achieve the highest standards and deliver the best results in every project, big or small.
You are responsible for developing technical solutions that fall outside our standard systems.
With your and the teams´ creative ideas we can meet the needs of architects and builders, from specifications to extreme dimensions and spectacular designs.
You will provide advice on pricing and validate your proposals with the (internal) client. Your communication skills will help you easily build relationships with (internal) clients.
Once the project is won, you’ll be the lucky one to follow up on its execution.
You are the go-to person for the technical draftsman, who among other tasks, creates specifications for the die drawings.
You will also handle the initiation of project articles, create production details and instructions, and as the cherry on top, oversee the initial setup and testing.
Of course, you won’t face this challenge alone. You will receive the necessary guidance and training and can always rely on your fellow Project Engineers.
Moreover, we closely collaborate with other technical departments such as Research, Development, and the Technology Centre for testing (including Air Wind Water tests).
We use design software such as AutoCAD (2D) & Inventor (3D), and to check stability, we use structural analysis software like Rstab and Rfem.
Your profile:
You have an interest and preferably first experience in the construction industry.
You hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Electromechanics.
You enjoy working in an international environment and communicate fluently in English.
You are only satisfied when your client is satisfied: the client always comes first for you.
Traveling abroad regularly is no problem for you.
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Inventor & structural analysis software.
