Role Overview:

As a Cyber Security Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in leading technical engagements with customers, driving the development of our cyber security services roadmap, and delivering impactful workshops and consultative engagements. You will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs, ensuring that our solutions align with their security challenges and business objectives. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on technical expertise, pre-sales experience, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead customer-facing technical engagements, including discovery sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
Develop and articulate cyber security solutions that address customer challenges, leveraging our MSSP offerings.
Own the development and evolution of the cyber security services roadmap, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer demand.
Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling technical content and solution presentations.
Deliver high-impact presentations and storytelling to articulate the value proposition of our security services.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing consultative guidance on security strategy, architecture, and implementation.
Stay updated on emerging cyber security threats, technologies, and best practices to inform solution development and customer recommendations.
Support RFP/RFI responses, technical proposal creation, and solution design discussions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine service offerings and drive continuous improvement in our security capabilities.


Skills & Experience:
MSSP Experience: Prior experience working within an MSP environment, with a strong understanding of managed security services.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, vulnerability and exposure management tooling, threat intelligence, and data security solutions.
Pre-Sales & Consulting Experience: Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical advisory role within cyber security.
Storytelling & Presentation Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for executives and technical stakeholders.
Growth Mindset: A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Customer Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and establish trust with customers at all levels.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and contribute to strategic roadmaps.
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.

Job Description
Position Available: Manufacturing Test Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £46,000 + Bonus
Experience needed: We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing team, providing test and diagnostics support for electrical and electronic sub-systems throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electronic testing, fault diagnosis, and test equipment, with experience in a complex manufacturing environment such as defence, aerospace and similar.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the test and validation of electronic and electro-mechanical components. You will play a key role in ensuring test processes meet quality, cost, and time targets while collaborating with Operations, Design, and other key stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide test engineering support throughout the design and development phases, from initial concept to production readiness
Support test facility introduction, ensuring proper configuration control, test specifications, and operator instructions are in place
Conduct testing and diagnostics of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards, identifying failures down to component level
Ensure test processes meet programme and quality requirements, maintaining functional governance and driving continuous improvement
Record test activities and manage non-conformance reports and concessions using enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution system (MES) software
What we need from you:
HNC or higher in a relevant subject (HND/Degree preferred)
Experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacturing and test
Strong understanding of electrical/electronic measurement principles, test equipment, and fault diagnosis techniques
Hands-on experience with manual and automated test equipment, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems such as SAP and MES for test tracking and reporting
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write test specifications, operator instructions, and technical reports

I have an immediate opportunity for a Backup Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing data protection solutions for corporate clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategies to safeguard company data, ensuring reliability and efficiency in backup environments.
This will suit someone with Veritas NetBackup product knowledge but has a background working in integration rather than sole backup administration, and experience in delivering projects and working independently.

Proven background in backup engineering within corporate environments
Strong skills in backup solutions such as Veritas NetBackup, NetBackup Flex 10.x.
Experience setting up backup environments from scratch and knowledge of Storage, Networking and various OS environments
Strong Unix/Linux experience is also expected
Scripting skills (Python or PowerShell) beneficial but not essential.
Cloud exposure is a plus.
Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and translating them into efficient solutions.
