Conduct and monitor data science projects from definition of scope, model building, to industralization and follow up of the results.
Challenges
Working with large and complex datasets (need to clean, process, and analyze the data).
Balancing technical skills with business acumen: be able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: work with teams from different departments and backgrounds, and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with these teams to drive business results.
Communicating insights effectively: be able to communicate your findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful way to stakeholders who may have limited technical knowledge.
Keeping up with the latest technologies and techniques: continuously update your skills and knowledge to stay ahead.
Main tasks
Collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing large datasets from multiple sources.
Developing and testing statistical models to support data-driven decision making.
Visualizing data and presenting insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Building machine learning models to make predictions, classify data, and uncover hidden relationships in the data.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data science and machine learning.
Profile
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Problem-solving skills:
Ability to identify business problems and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Experience using data to drive decision-making and solve complex problems.
Communication and collaboration skills:
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills and experience visualizing and presenting data insights.
