Technical skills:
SME for MS Azure Platform.
Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, with significant hands-on experience in MS Azure (must have).
Strong understanding of MS Azure cloud architecture, services, automation, and security best practices to contribute to the long-term cloud strategy, including architecture design, future scalability, and innovation.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, automation, containerization, etc.).
Knowledge/experience of AWS as a secondary cloud technology is desirable.
Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud environments.
Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and compute in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee provisioning, configuration and management of all cloud infrastructure resources (Compute, Network & Storage) in Azure, AWS etc ensuring efficiently, securely, and remaining cost-effective.
Lead the implementation of cloud-based solutions & support migration of Legacy applications into Cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high levels of collaboration and productivity.
Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to industry best practices for security, data protection, and compliance (eg, NIST ISO, GDPR, etc).
Provide periodic reports on cloud costs, usage patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
Ensure that cloud infrastructure aligns with business goals, objectives, and future growth.
Act as an escalation point for Cloud infrastructure incidents/issues to oversee troubleshooting, incident management, and problem resolution related to cloud infrastructure.

Bench IT require an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a large organisation starting ASAP working hybrid 3-4 days per week in London with the remaining time working remotely. The successful engineer should have the skills and experience included below.
The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below:
Provide 1st & 2nd line technical support to users onsite.
Liaise with business users to understand, troubleshoot and resolve IT related incidents and requests, ranging from simple access requests to more complex incidents.
Ensure day-to-day IT operational checks are fulfilled, such as meeting room checks, application availability etc. and address failures, where required.
Be technically competent with good all-round knowledge of Windows 11, Azure Entra, Office 365, Azure Admin, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, and printing technology.
Experience in endpoint management Intune.
Have experience using JIRA Service Management, Service Now. (ideal but not essential).
Have a strong understanding of Joiners, Movers and Leavers. Being able to follow standard operating procedures is essential.
Understanding of ITIL service management framework.
Have experience supporting AV/Media support, Crestron technology, Team meeting room set up.
Be able to own complex service requests, incidents and problems through to resolution.
Provide excellent hardware and application support to business customers.
Be comfortable communicating across all levels of the organisation and able to translate technical resolutions to employees.
Previous experience working in the Insurance sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

Bench IT require an experienced Data Analyst with experience working within Investment/Asset Management to assist with a large programme. This position will be hybrid working with 2 days per week in London and the remaining 3 days working remotely.
The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below;
Significant experience working within Investment/Asset Management experience
Significant asset management Data Analysis experience
Extensive knowledge of Asset Management Data Domains and relationships (eg Security and associated entities eg Issuers/Account/Product/Client/Trades/Orders/Transactions/Holdings)
Experience of working with Data Suppliers/Outsourcers
Experience working with business stakeholders to agree data specifications.
Technical knowledge to distil existing codified rules into logical specifications, work with outsourcer to deliver and test outcome - knowledge of MarkIT EMD is an advantage.
Define operating model for issue and change management.
Ability to manage a pipeline of work independently.
Data analysis - knowledge of writing and reading SQL to support technical analysis.
Experience of:
Creating Data Source: Target Mappings
Creating and presenting Data Solution Designs
Creating Data Flows incl Data Domains
Documenting Data Dictionaries
UAT on Data Deliverables
Understanding of Data Risk and Governance considerations
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) with a range of stakeholders from Business to Tech
