The primary focus of the team is to create an amazing customer experience by defining and delivering multi-channel, B2B merchandising activities which allow customers to find, research, and buy with confidence.
Working in close collaboration with cross functional teams, you will be responsible for leveraging insight, conducting research and drawing on technical expertise to understand customer’s needs and purchasing behaviour across channels. From this you will develop a merchandising plan which drives commercial benefit, customer engagement and a competitive advantage.
Success is measured through a customer and commercial lens with KPIs aligned to team and business objectives.

What will you do on a normal day?
Researching, developing, and delivering product merchandising which improves the customer shopping experience
Creating unique, inspiring product shopping pages which enhance our search performance whilst driving incremental market share
Driving conversion through analysing customer data
Working cross functionally to gather relevant insights focused on ensuring consistent and optimised product merchandising
Interpreting all insight, analytics and data and converting it into tangible activity for a multi-channel customer experience
Using Google Analytics to research customer behaviour and measure impact
Utilising SEO skills to improve our visibility in search engines to support acquisition ambitions
Developing strategies to dynamically gap fill content and automate content creation and optimisation to improve process efficiencies
Liaising with suppliers to ensure that content is supplied in line with requirements and to drive strategic partnerships
Communicating activity in a clear and timely manner including creating a monthly report to demonstrate the progress of customer and commercial impact
Taking risks, failing fast and identifying components of growth to replicate success
Using reporting dashboards to track, monitor and learn from performance
Developing a close working relationship with peers to share best practice and improve team and business performance
Promoting the merchandising strategy throughout the business and to suppliers
What are we looking for?
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of merchandising and/or creating effective SEO content to maximise customer engagement and drive commercial benefit for a large assortment of technical products
Understanding and experience of taxonomies and on-site search
You will be eager to work autonomously, take initiative, embrace challenge, proactively seek new opportunities and innovations
You will have a curious personality and have the passion to stay up to date with new innovations, trends, and developments
You will be results orientated, always want to deliver best in class, happily take new challenges and constantly seek new solutions to reach business and personal objectives
You will have the ability to use knowledge and experience of external best practice to shape merchandising plans, direction, and delivery
You will possess the skills to influence, challenge and negotiate with cross functional stakeholders across a matrix organisation to ensure effective delivery of your plan
You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and using multiple insights to identify and define clear plans
Experience of analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help define and measure the impact of merchandising plans

We have a new opportunity for a Developer due to our continued drive towards Digital performance and optimisation. As a Developer you’ll be joining a very talented on-site digital team, building out a new product utilising the latest software engineering tools and techniques.
What will you do on a normal day?
Enjoy creating simple, effective, efficient, performant and clean code to power new product features.
Refactor and improve existing code.
Collaborate with the product owner to help define and deliver software requirements for programming effort. This includes helping and writing specification for other developers.
Collaborate with the team on the design and user experience.
Be given the freedom to take ideas and run with them.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who has good understanding of agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery on B2B or B2M (Business to Many) web portals/platforms. You would have experience of building infrastructure that quickly identifies and surfaces production issues that impact their users.

As a problem solver with a creative approach to data solutions & who is passionate about developing successful data solutions, the Data Scientist will work with business stakeholders to implement data-driven projects & workflows within the business.
A successful candidate will have creative approach to data solutions and is passionate about applying data solutions & workflows to enable strategic business decision-making by working with key business stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who has a proven track-record in the application of data science techniques in a business setting & wants to enhance their skills in a fast-paced business environment.
Role Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for:
Driving data within Cromwell
Data set generation, feature engineering & developing ML models that are repeatable, dynamic, and scalable.
Developing, monitoring & maintaining AI-driven processes within the business
Supporting with monitoring & maintaining productionised models, identifying, and developing long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods, and standards.
Developing ML models, visualisation tools & analytics to support the business strategy.
Advocate and educate on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the “how and why” of solving problems.
Managing relationships
Engaging with business stakeholders to problem solve with data.
Collaborating with the data engineering team to improve data accessibility.
Supporting analytics teams to effectively present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Role Requirements
Experience and Knowledge:
Degree (or equivalent) Post graduate degree are welcomed.
Proficiency in SQL / PostgreSQL / Microsoft SQL / Oracle
Proficient in Python or R
Proven business experience (1+ years) within a data scientist role, solving problems through data.
Good understanding of machine learning modelling techniques & proven experience deploying these within a business
Adept in in statistics and experience of using statistical techniques
Experience of analysing large datasets and communicating complex algorithms and methodologies to key technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A detail oriented, highly logical, and creative problem solver with a passion for overcoming complex challenges.
Proficient in writing clear, maintainable code
Highly Desirable
Knowledge & experience using version control software.
Knowledge of containerisation software.
Experience developing data visualisations for stakeholders through a BI platform (Power BI / Qlik / Tableau or similar).
Experience in utilising LLMs within a business setting

As a Team Leader, you will join our talented on-site development team, working on new products and enhancing existing ones using the latest software engineering tools and techniques.
