Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for a career focussed Planning Manager to work on a wide variety of new build construction projects. Some of these projects include Oriel, a joint initiative to transform a two-acre site at St Pancras Hospital to deliver a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre. A state-of-the-art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2. The West Middlesex - Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC), valued at £80 million. This state-of-the-art facility would provide diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, CT and MRI as well as cancer treatment and renal dialysis for people with kidney problems.
Essential:
Ability to manage multiple resources with the Planning Department and multiple project programmes running in parallel
Proven common forms of contract experience in NEC/JCT
Mentoring abilities to support staff and provide the platform for personal development within the department.
Experience of construction projects and process across a broad range of sectors (bias towards commercial, mixed use developments , schools, high end residential preferable)
Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of development; design, procurement, construction (structure, architecture, services), commissioning
Excellent communication skills; ability to quickly and clearly articulate key issues and to listen and capture concerns of others
Use of specialist planning software (ideally all of Power project, P6, MS Project), will also consider Asta experienceJob Purpose and Scope:
Manage and operate the planning system in accordance with the planning procedures, providing a consistently high level of service. Responsibility of managing the planning resource within pre-construction ensuring effective solutions are provided within the bid process. Manage the planning resource on multiple live projects ensuring the production teams are supported to deliver the project time objectives

Essential:

Job Purpose and Scope:
Based on site, you will provide administration support to project team. Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (hour for lunch)
Site Administrator duties include:
Place orders and organise and collate weekly reports
Support in Document Control process when required
Assist in binding, printing and filing both electronically and hard copies when required
Book meeting rooms for team meetings and associated meetings
Book travel when required
Help organise events/meetings
Meet and great al visitors making sure sign in
Organize and issue company property when required
And other admin duties as necessary to support the team

With experience of Viewpoint 4P or Fieldview advantageous not essential as full training will be givenIf you do not have document control experience we would require these skills:

Capacity to work effectively both on an individual basis and as part of wider project team

Based on site, the Document Controller is responsible for managing all administrative and technical documents, including the control of documentation and administrative processes in accordance with Project Specific and Company Procedures. You also ensure that all users have access to the latest revision of appropriate documentation.
The role offers involvement in the following areas:
Check and process drawings and other technical information on the EDMS
Provide support to the overall Document Control team on live projects
Generate regular reports on the status of project documentation.
Prepare documents for presentation (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Upload information onto EDMS conforming to all Bouygues Protocols
