Your mission

Design and implement complex backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript and AWS
Create and implement architecture solutions in collaboration with the rest of the team (incl. DB architecture)
Build, test and improve the existing services, APIs and queries
Monitor the existing apps and create new dashboards and alerting in Datadog
Coach developers with less experience

Work closely with the platform and the frontend team to ensure seamless integrations

Your profile

Minimum 5 years of development using modern Backend technology (including at least 3 years of Node + Typescript)
Experience with relational databases, Aurora PostgreSQL
Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Familiarity with AWS
You know how to use monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog and Grafana
Background in high speed and dynamic environments, ideally in SaaS businesses
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication in English, German is a bonus
Strong solution-finding techniques

Your mission

Lead and inspire our software engineers towards building a scalable services-oriented product
Design, configure, and implement core services of a distributed architecture like API gateways, event buses, message queues and robust authentication
Design and implement central and reusable components, services, and libraries
Provide streamlined and self-service processes and interfaces to integrate new product components easily and quickly into the distributed landscape
Set up automated test and deploy pipelines to support the teams in releasing daily
Mentor and be the go-to person that identifies the right tool for the job, including advocating for modern advances where appropriate such as the use of assistive AI technologies

Your profile

You have a strong full-stack software engineering background, preferably with the TypeScript ecosystem (Node.js + React), but also other programming stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Go) are relevant
You know when to choose which kind of data store and how to structure and link data most efficiently
You believe in an experimentation-focused approach to product delivery, deploying and delivering features in small observable increments
You have proven experience in building, deploying, and scaling systems which are not troubled by millions of users
You are an expert in setting up robust, fail-safe, and secure inter-service communication and authentication flows
You know exactly how to monitor and ensure the health of such a system and you focus on observability of our customer outcomes
You think out of the box and everything-as-code to provide the best developer experience
You believe in continuous communication with your stakeholders and can moderate workshops and present visions and results
You can draw the full picture, but also think in iterations to get things rolling

Our UKI team is looking for a Corporate Account Executive who will be accountable for selling SoSafe’s product to technology managers in the UKI region. Working closely with a Sales Development Representative, every day you will be growing your network and business in order to over-achieve your targets. You will be knowledgeable about your customers’ challenges and business objectives. You know how to align our cyber security offering and present a solution that a customer cannot do without. Experience in closing deals is essential as is working collaboratively with others as you will have touch points with other internal teams such as Pre-Sales and Customer Success.

Your mission

Build and nurture business relationships with key decision-makers at potential customer companies, sharing SoSafe’s value and impact
Showcase SoSafe’s products in online demos, in-person presentations, and at events
Collaborate closely with our SDR team to identify, qualify, and engage top partners
Drive negotiations to close valuable, long-term deals

Your profile

2-4 years in a closing role within SaaS sales, ideally targeting SMB or mid-market accounts
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
A collaborative, proactive approach with strong cross-functional teams skills
Adaptable to a high-speed startup environment with shifting priorities
Open to feedback, constantly striving to learn and grow
Fluent in English
