What you need to know about the role...

Are you a seasoned Test Manager with a passion for driving quality across complex programmes? Join The Gym Group as a Programme Test Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality features for high-value projects. You’ll lead testing strategies, oversee execution, and collaborate with diverse teams to maintain excellence across the programme.


What you’ll do:

Testing Strategy: Define and implement a robust testing strategy aligned with programme objectives, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to governance models.
Leadership: Manage and inspire cross-functional testing teams across multiple workstreams, acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders and external vendors.
Execution: Oversee test plans, scripts, and environments, monitor defect resolution, and deliver QA updates to stakeholders. Collaborate across teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate testing risks while driving continuous improvement in tools and processes.
Reporting: Provide clear, actionable updates on progress, metrics, and risks, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.


What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Test Manager on large, complex programmes.
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps testing methodologies, with proficiency in tools like Jira, Miro, and Confluence.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across all levels.
Familiarity with risk-based testing, concurrent workstreams, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Bonus: ISTQB certification, cloud/SaaS knowledge, CI/CD pipeline familiarity, or experience with payment systems.

Hybrid - 3 days in Clapham, London / 2 days remote

As a Business Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering business tasks within a large technology re-platforming programme of work. Work includes co-ordinating with the programme steering committee regarding strategy decisions, user acceptance testing, leading the operational rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

Be the driving force and a key team enabler for the successful migration to new Digital software and services. You will ensure these align with our overall strategic goals
Ensure the scope of change is defined, understood and agreed by all key stakeholders, including business process change, data migration testing and user training.
Create and own the business delivery plan - develop a detailed project plan with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Track and report on progress, and feed into the overall programme plan
Identify potential risks – such as data loss or system downtime – and their mitigations
Identify key stakeholders, including IT teams, business users and leaders and senior management.
Regularly communicate project updates, timelines, and potential impacts to stakeholders.
Set realistic expectations and address concerns promptly.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, building the bridges between the TGG Digital Team, our partner ecosystem and various business functions (e.g Operations, Customer Services, Finance, Marketing, Trading, etc)
Ensure a suite of comprehensive test cases are collaboratively created with appropriate end-user engagement
Ensure feedback from UAT is used to make necessary adjustments.
Lead the business change at the point of product launch
Communicate changes to end-users, including training materials and documentation.
Plan for comprehensive training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the new system.
Provide ongoing support and assistance during and after the migrations

About you:

Ability to work in a collaborative and flexible way within a diverse team, including technical and business users, internal and external suppliers.
Able to simply explain complex problems and switch between technical conversations and high level "storytelling" depending on audience
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyse complex scenarios
Commitment to service, completing tasks and to meeting challenging deadlines.
Emotional intelligence - Critical for navigating complex stakeholder relationships and managing any tensions or conflicts that arise. The candidate should demonstrate self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to understand and manage emotions in both themselves and others.
Proven background on delivering large scale programmes for the business.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy regarding quality of own work and presentation is essential.
Organised with ability to multi-task, prioritise, work quickly and to tight deadlines.
Self-starter - able to independently run and prioritise your own workload daily and be accountable for owning and delivering work to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the product roadmap for The Gym Group App, aligning with business goals and member needs.
Drive the development and enhancement of the App, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for members.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, business and operations teams to deliver high-quality product enhancements.
Conduct data-driven decision-making using analytics, user research, and market trends to optimise the app’s performance and user experience.
Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into clear product specifications.
Lead the app’s growth strategy, focusing on acquisition, engagement and retention.
Champion an agile and customer-centric approach to product development.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager
Experience inB2C digital environment
ideally with experience in fitness, wellness, or subscription-based services.
Strong background in managing digital subscriptions service, including customer retention, pricing strategies, and engagement optimisation.
Experience working with mobile applications,Including UX/UI best practices, A/B testing, and feature development.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating with engineering and design teams.
Passion for fitness, health, and digital innovation is a plus
