Key Responsibilities:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Splunk or related observability tools is highly desirable.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team, providing dedicated 1st and 2nd line support for a longstanding client in London. The role involves a mix of on-site and remote work, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to maintaining and enhancing our well-established relationship with this client.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and manage new support tickets within 15 minutes of receipt.
Assess and categorize tickets appropriately, determining whether they should be escalated to the application team or resolved internally.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including less common or unfamiliar applications.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
Communicate effectively and professionally with the client team, ensuring clear and timely updates.
Follow established procedures and maintain a high level of documentation accuracy (eg, hardware inventory, mobile phone lists).
Provide support via multiple channels, including Hornbill, Teams, and direct phone lines when required.
Technical Environment:
