Job Description
Our client is looking for Cloud Architects with the highest of security clearance to work on highly secure projects.
Ideally you will be based in London but Manchester and Leeds are also possible locations. It is an initial 12 month hybrid contract role with 3 days a week expected in the office.

You will have experience in many of the following:
• Cloud Migration experience
• Experience in Cloud Platform Architecture with AWS, defining cloud reference Architectures and Cloud Patterns in a large multi-account AWS estate
• Plenty of experience in AWS and experience in solving complex business issues. Regarded as an AWS subject matter expert
• Experience with various DevOps tools and CI/CD tools
• Experience in AWS Security services and Network Services
• Experience with working within an Agile framework
• Good understanding of AWS security concepts and the goals of cyber security
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Motivating the team to use new tools to improve efficiency and breaking barriers to set new standards.

It would be great if you also had experience in some of these, but if not the client will help you with them....
• Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, AWS Speciality domains (Security, Advanced Networking)
• A scaled agile framework certification, such as SAFe or Scrum@Scale
• Managing stakeholders, including users and management

Praetorian Systems Engineer
The Opportunity
Our Client has an opportunity for a Contract Engineer to join our team within the Combat Air line of business for a twelve-month Contract as part of the team working on their systems for Typhoon.
This role will focus on supporting the development of systems for Typhoon Defensive Aids Systems.
Due to the nature of the work, this role requires 80-100% (4 days) on-site working at the clients site in Luton.
A role within the team will provide exposure to EW products and subject-matter experts with expertise within domain, product, and technology fields.
What you will do
Engaging with stakeholders, defining requirements for a new system
Conducting cost and functional performance trade-offs and evaluation of proposed solutions
Designing and integrating new functionality into an existing system
Modelling a system to understand observed simulated performance
Development of capability within limitations and constraints of the target hardware
Creation of Test Plans and Requirements for Verification and Validation of sub-systems
Creation of Integration Plans for unit integration into the full system
Technical Discussions with suppliers and customers
Document management to support design review activities
What we’re looking for
Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, particularly in the following areas:
Problem definition
Systems Architecture
Systems Modelling and Analysis
Integration, Verification and Validation
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steer technical interchange discussions
Product Data Management using Teamcenter/SharePoint/Confluence.
Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving challenging issues to a conclusion alongside excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to obtain SC Clearance for UK-caveated programmes. Which means Sole British passport, no dual nationalities and at least 5 years UK residency.

This role will focus on supporting the development of release documentation for products such as Britecloud.
A role within the team will provide exposure to EW products and subject-matter experts with expertise within domain, product, and technology fields.

What you will do
Creation of Test Reports following Verification and Validation of sub-systems
Creation of Integration and Trials Reports following unit integration into the full system
Creation of Security Management Reports following Verification and Trials activities
Technical Discussions with suppliers and customers
Document management to support design review activities
What we’re looking for
In-depth knowledge of Electronic Hardware Verification and Validation methodologies
Knowledge of Security aspects covering Information Warfare, Networks, Cryptography, and System Vulnerabilities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steer technical interchange discussions
Product Data Management using Teamcenter/SharePoint/Confluence.
Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving challenging issues to a conclusion alongside excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

DevOps Engineer Responsibilities:
