Key Responsibilities: Design and set up systems from scratch with a strong emphasis on reliability, availability, and security. Deploy and manage public/private cloud hosting solutions. Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery. Leverage Kubernetes and Docker for containerized application management. Manage and optimize Kafka, AWS MSK/Confluent for data streaming. Handle data replication and archival processes across environments. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong expertise in AWS MSK, Confluent, and Kafka. (Kafka's ability to process massive amounts of data in Real Time makes it a critical tool for DevOps teams, as it allows them to monitor and manage their applications and systems effectively. The role of Kafka in DevOps extends beyond just data processing.) Multi-cloud experience, including public and private cloud hosting. Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD. Experience with observability and monitoring tools (eg, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch). Knowledge of data replication and archival techniques. Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team, providing dedicated 1st and 2nd line support for a longstanding client in London. The role involves a mix of on-site and remote work, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to maintaining and enhancing our well-established relationship with this client. Key Responsibilities: Respond to and manage new support tickets within 15 minutes of receipt. Assess and categorize tickets appropriately, determining whether they should be escalated to the application team or resolved internally. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including less common or unfamiliar applications. Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary. Communicate effectively and professionally with the client team, ensuring clear and timely updates. Follow established procedures and maintain a high level of documentation accuracy (eg, hardware inventory, mobile phone lists). Provide support via multiple channels, including Hornbill, Teams, and direct phone lines when required. Technical Environment: This role involves basic administrative tasks using the following technologies: Azure Virtual Desktop M365 Admin Microsoft Office Suite WatchGuard Cloud & VPN ManageEngine Hornbill Touchpoint & UCClient Sophos Command Prompt for admin commands (when domain admin is unavailable) Basic PowerShell commands (preferred but not mandatory) Mimecast Candidate Requirements: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage a variety of technical issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with end-users and client teams. Familiarity with the technologies listed above, particularly in an administrative capacity. Lead Proof of Value (POV) initiatives and support the onboarding of multiple clients to the platform. Develop and execute advanced rollout techniques for Splunk Observability solutions. Integrate data sources using Splunk add-ons and Otel agents to streamline data ingestion.
