CPS Group are looking for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, working with some of the world's most recognisable brands and public sector organisations This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge web and mobile applications, collaborating within an Agile development environment to deliver high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

As a key part of the team, you will provide technical leadership, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure best practices in development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of Front End and Back End components using JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Provide mentorship to developers, ensuring high-quality code through best practices.

Work closely with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and secure architectures.

Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Conduct code reviews and champion Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive continuous learning and innovation.

Must-Have Skills

Experience developing with Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap 5, HTML, and CSS.

Strong background in Test Driven Development (TDD), including Karma.

Proficiency in GIT for version control.

Experience working in Agile development teams.

Solid understanding of Node.js and at least one leading Node.js framework (eg, Express.js, Nest.js, Hapi.js).

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with OpenLayers or similar mapping libraries.

Knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks.

Experience working with the Atlassian suite (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence).

Familiarity with serverless architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Understanding of microservices and API development (REST, GraphQL).

Exposure to headless CMS platforms such as Contentful.

Experience with mobile app development using React Native.

Senior Software Developer -C#.Net - Cardiff - Hybrid - £50,000 - £60,000 doe

Want to work in a highly collaborative environment where your opinion and contribution towards the code will have a direct impact through live deployment, helping to shape the business for the future? This role may be for you.

We are currently working with a global fintech partner who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team who on one side would be comfortable in leading daily and big weekly sprints getting to the heart of the issues whilst code reviewing, but on the other side is more than comfortable putting on a pair of headphones and cracking on with deployment code into a cloud environment.

The team themselves are highly collaborative and will consist of 2 other senior engineers and a handful of mid level and junior developers who would love to learn off the back of your own experiences.

Responsibilities

Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
Providing clear guidance to colleagues on best practice.
Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks with the optimization of cloud resources.
Support test and deployment of new products and features
Participate in code reviews

Technical qualifications required

High experience in .Net Core, C#.
Strong experience in Javascript related technologies.
In depth knowledge of Azure related technologies.
Strong understanding relating to the breakdown of Microservices architecture.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work using Automated Testing and Infrastructure as Code format.
Computer science degree or equivalent
Strong record of leadership and success within a multiple team format.

Social Media Insights Executive

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading name in the Media & Entertainment industry to appoint a Social Insights & Listening Executive for an initial 6-month contract, paid via daily rate.

Working as part of an established in-house team with a globally recognised brand, the Social Insights & Listening Executive will support the Studios and wider Digital Marketing team to conduct analysis and provide actionable insights on social data, relating to new and upcoming releases. Such insights will then be embedded into (and inform) digital marketing campaigns, creative and strategy.

Role Requirements

• Utilise a range of social listening and social performance tools in order to better understand the performance and excitement of new releases and content
• Help maintain and update dashboards for viewing and sharing social data (incl. data validation)
• Analyse and produce social insights across a variety of films, titles and queries
• Feed into (and liaise with) a wider central team responsible for synthesising work across multiple geographical markets
• Configure and set up social listening Boolean queries
• Proactively keep a finger on the pule of social activity and conversations

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to interrogate and analyse data from different digital datasets, platforms and tools
• Knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms
• Ability to communicate complex data and technical tools in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to translate raw data into tangible, actionable insights
• Impeccable attention to detail, proof reading and data analysis

CRM Coordinator

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading, London-based organisation to appoint a seasoned CRM Coordinator, for an initial 6-month term. Working at the UK HQ and in a highly cross-functional environment, the CRM Coordinator will play a key role in the end-to-end (plan, manage, optimise) communication to customers via email, push and in-app messaging; with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and engagement.

Working closely with internal marketing, creative, PR and copy departments, the CRM Coordinator will support the production of engaging campaigns, whilst ensuring seamless execution and integration of CRM strategies.

Role Requirements

• Support the customer engagement team in the day-to-day delivery across key engagement channels, specifically UI, in-app and email / push notifications
• Brief creatives and manage the creative/copy for customer comms channels (in app, email, push)
• Own and facilitate the delivery process for regional and local campaigns ensuring assets are delivered to strict deadlines and required spec
• Maintain and plan a calendar of key moments that impact customer engagement
• Build relationships with local market teams
• Act as the point-person for any customer engagement/CRM-related queries
• Maintain a customer engagement database (e.g. channels, specs, legal restrictions)
• Analyse customer data to identify trends and insights
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotions that compliment & support product engagement priorities
• Monitor and report on CRM performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes or approaches to support efficiencies
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CRM technology

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Experience in end-to-end CRM management
• Proficiency in CRM software and tools (e.g. Braze, SFMC)
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
