The Role
Our client is seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join their dynamic Analytics team. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in designing and developing business intelligence solutions through Power BI. This role provides the opportunity to make a real impact by providing actionable insights to drive key decisions across the business.
Collaborate with the wider Analytics team and stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and develop scalable data models to support business intelligence reporting.
Ensure data accuracy and reliability through testing and validation.
Create intuitive and impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Train and support end users, ensuring Power BI is embedded into decision-making processes across the company.

Your Experience
Our client is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with a proven track record of creating actionable business insights. You will have experience working with cross-functional teams and a strong passion for data.

A strong academic background in a numerate discipline.
2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, including data modelling and DAX.
Proficiency in SQL with experience in building effective data models.
A good understanding of data visualisation principles, UX, and governance.
Exposure to tools such as Databricks or Alteryx is a plus.

Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Lead DevOps Engineer - £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus - Wilmslow (Hybrid 2-3 days per week in the office)

My client are a leader in developing FinTech solutions to multiple financial services providers. Due to growth in demand for their platform they are scaling quickly and as such, need a Lead DevOps Engineer to develop their infrastructure ensuring scalability and reliability as they migrate to a new cloud environment.

Essential Technical skills:
Linux System Administration
Containerization and deployment - Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
Cloud - AWS and GCP
IaC - Terraform
Scripting - Javascript, Typescript
CI/CD pipelines

Other Essential Skills:
Team leadership - you will have led small teams of DevOps engineers previously
Strategy - Design and deliver the DevOps Roadmap
Stakeholder Management - work with the wider business to align infrastructure strategy with the business objectives. Promote and advocate DevOps culture and activities across the organisation
