Key Responsibilities:
Support strategic business decision-making by turning raw data into critical information that can be analysed, while informing metrics / KPIs and financial forecasts
Design and implement scalable QuickSight dashboards that track key performance indicators for subscriber growth, content consumption, financial reporting, and marketing campaign effectiveness across different international markets
Educate and train the team in self-serving using these dashboards, gather feedback on missing functionalities and implement upgrades as required
Create customized reporting solutions and support ad hoc analyses that allow the international team to monitor and compare the performance of various territories, enabling data-driven decision-making for content acquisition and marketing resource allocation
Basic Qualifications:
A self-starter with a background in supporting financial analysis, marketing analytics, subscriber analytics and/or content strategy, who can work independently to develop and customize dashboards for multiple territories
A engineering professional with 3 years’ experience in analyzing and interpreting data using BIE tools, particularly QuickSight, Redshift, SQL
An individual with excellent written communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams that have varying levels of technical expertise and international reach and translating business needs into actionable product requirements

The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to elicit their requirements, explore suitable solution options, make recommendations for the solutions to move forward with and then see those solutions through to full implementation. Throughout this entire process, the successful candidate will evidence exemplary stakeholder management to keep all parties informed of the status of product discovery and delivery efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Group Product Manager and other senior stakeholders to define the overall strategy and direction for your product area
Identify internal customers to deliver first class tools and service to meet customer needs developing close relationships to understand user needs, existing pain points, and opportunities for improvements
Define your core platform metrics for your products; maintaining a strong focus on monitoring and measurement of your products; be accountable for the end-to-end success of your product
Size opportunities (with engineers), prioritise the roadmap, and set targets for your team that will stretch them and meet business goals
Ensure the team has well defined epics and stories to work against aligned to OKR’s. Write functional specifications that define the expected behavior of your products
Work collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, testers, analysts, researchers and others to create products that delight your users
Work with agile coaches and your team to drive continuous efficiency improvements
Communicate with multiple key stakeholders to keep them up to date and bought into your product development, managing change effectively to minimise disruption, manage dependencies and ensure adoption throughout the vertical
Work closely with the Engineering Manager and the team to identify and manage technical debt in a sustainable manner whilst delivering against the agreed OKRs
Keep on top of industry trends and standards, and put those to good use in your own products
Present to colleagues and stakeholders the future direction and plan for your product; balancing simplifying complex areas with storytelling and explanation, managing change effectively to minimise disruption with the front end teams, manage dependencies and ensure adoption of new tools and services
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working as a Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst or Systems Analyst within a technically complex team
- Great presentation skills with the ability to elaborate on various technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, this is key to this role.
- Have a proven track record of delivering high resiliency and high availability, technical products
- Good technical understanding of web technologies, API design and development; data and cloud technologies
- Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders across the business

Engineering excellence, documentation & debugging Set up or improve test/monitoring/survey infrastructure or processes to ensure code health and consider system maintainability and scalability over time, contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback, triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders. Code health and tools Ability to redesign or refactor code to address technical debt, maintain readability, or develop tools as necessary to improve code health. Data structures and algorithms Ability to select or design an algorithm and appropriate data structures to solve a problem or improve a product, framework, or the scale/speed/efficiency/reliability of a system. Debugging and bug-fixing Ability to debug, triage, and fix program code or technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process) by locating, mitigating the impact, and fixing errors. This includes the ability to conduct root-cause analysis, isolate the source of the problem, and resolve the bugs.
Skills- Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field or 3 years of experience in software development. 3+ years experience writing JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Golang, and/or SQL 3+ years experience developing resource oriented APIs
