We’re looking for a Contract PHP Developer with strong Laravel experience to join an exciting project with a new client of ours. This role falls Inside IR35, meaning you’ll be engaged via an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions
Work with RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-based technologies

We are looking for a highly skilled Laravel Developer who has experience building platforms from start to finish—someone who understands scalability, performance optimization, and feature expansion. If you have built and scaled a SaaS product, we want to hear from you!
This is working for one of our most regular clients who have won multiple awards both for their products and their working teams!

As a Platform Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications. You will work on optimizing system performance, improving backend logic, and implementing new features that enhance our platform. This role requires someone with proven experience in building and scaling full platforms, preferably in the SaaS space.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel
Optimize database queries and backend processes to enhance performance
Develop new features and improve existing functionalities
Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the platform
Work with AWS, Nginx, and other server technologies to maintain and scale infrastructure
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements
5+ years of experience with Laravel and PHP development
Proven experience building and scaling platforms from the ground up

This role provides a crucial position in addressing, finalising and solving technical issues that customers and clients identify.
