Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and maintain the fixed asset register for the group.
Month end accounting.
Journal preparation and monthly balance sheet reconciliations across numerous entities.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in data sets.
Evaluate existing processes, recommending and implementing improvements.
Internal stakeholder engagement across the finance function.
Support year-end procedures, contributing to statutory accounts preparation and tax return submissions.
Assist with the company’s statutory audit process.
Essentials:
Qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
Experienced in working through month end.

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an Asset Manager Retail (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the financial services sector.

As Asset Manager Retail (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
Define and execute the business plans of the assigned assets in accordance with portfolio strategy to maximise value and returns;
Extend, redevelop and reposition properties to increase value utilising best in class practices;
Oversight of external property managers and liaise, coordinate and oversee all third party service providers, such as project managers, building surveyors, planning consultants and leasing agents;
Optimize income distribution through tenant management and cost control;
Preparing financial models including development appraisals and investment cash flows;
Prepare asset performance reports to the Clients and the IM Oversight and Investment Committees;
Provide input and carefully check correctness for property valuations process;
Customer/Tenant relationship management - support wider team in developing best practices for effective customer/tenant relationships;
Provide input into the EMEA Shopping Centers platform in areas including data analytics, knowledge sharing and best practice, CRM and ESG.

The required profile for the Asset Manager Retail (m/f/x) position:
Academic study background with preferably a real estate specialization (engineering, real estate finance, finance & investments, management in the built environment, economics etc.);
Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in Retail Asset Management, preferably Shopping Centres. Additional experience in Property Management would be a plus;
Strong financial knowledge: in-depth knowledge of financial asset and portfolio terms and principles. Ability to analyze complex financial reports and business plans and develop innovative solutions;
Fluency in English and French is required for this role;
Excellent social and communication skills both verbal and written, enabling the development of good relationships with clients, colleagues and service providers;
Result-driven, pragmatic and solution-oriented attitude;
Organized, focused and good attention to detail.

Votre rôle :
En tant que Busines Analyst, vous interviendrez dans un environnement stimulant où les systèmes, les données et la compréhension approfondie des marchés de capitaux et des produits OTC sont au cœur des problématiques. Votre mission principale sera :

Collaborer avec les équipes afin de comprendre les caractéristiques des produits tels que les Equity Swaps, Forwards, Total Return Swaps et Options.
Extraire et analyser des données liées aux produits dérivés Equity OTC dans les bases de données.
Analyser un grand volume des données SQL et interpréter les modèles de données existants.
Coordonner différents activités, assurer le suivi des projets, partager les avancées avec les parties prenantes et produire le reporting sur le périmètre en charge.

Critères de qualification :

For our customer Plastiflex, with global headquarter in Paal-Beringen, Belgium, where Business management, Operations management, Finance and R&D are located, we are looking for a financial controller. Plastiflex is manufacturer ofapplications for air and fluid management for healthcare and industrial products. Plastiflex operates with a footprint of 13 entities across Europe, US, Mexico and Asia. Driven by the continued growth, Plastiflex is looking to grow the finance team with a financial controller.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

Prepare periodical financial reporting (accurate, timely variance analyses).
Collaborate with local finance managers to consolidate and validate results.
Assist in closing activities, including month-end processes and ensuring IFRS compliance.
Support the development/maintenance of KPI dashboards and financial forecasting models.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
Work closely with the Finance Director to coordinate budget preparation and forecasting projects
Perform deep-dive analysis at the article/product level to ensure insights align with business goals.
Plant-Control & Operational Support:
Monitor plant performance (margins, product mixes) across global locations with a dotted-line engagement model for plant controllers.
Audit and manage transfer pricing policies, ensuring compliance with global standards
Train/mentor plant controllers in financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Commercial & Project-Based Support
Provide commercial controlling inputs (sales forecasts, contribution analysis).

Other Key Activities

The requested qualifications for this job include:

Education:
Master’s degree in economics, finance, or equivalent field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in financial controlling, reporting, or external audits (Big Five experience preferred).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and financial complexity in international settings.
Proven expertise in consolidation and IFRS standards.
Technical and Analytical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Excel (mandatory) and experience with reporting and ERP systems.
IT-minded professional, with the ability to interpret and streamline data via technical tools (Power BI is a plus).
Soft Skills:
Fluency in English (mandatory).
