The Recruitment Consultant roles:

About The role

You’ll be joining a rapidly expanding Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering cutting-edge IT Support, Security Solutions, and Infrastructure to businesses across the UK. With a strong reputation for excellence, we help organisations scale securely with tailored technology solutions.
To support their ambitious growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities, from lead generation to close.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their client base by identifying, engaging, and securing new customers. You’ll be responsible for selling a comprehensive suite of managed IT and cybersecurity solutions to SMEs and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and prospect new business opportunities, targeting key decision-makers (C-suite, IT Directors, Heads of Security).
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth.
Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client pain points and propose tailored solutions.
Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations.
Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team.
Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.

What They’re Looking For

Proven track record in new business sales within an MSP or MSSP – this experience is essential.
Strong understanding of managed IT services, security solutions, and IT infrastructure.
Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a hunger for success.
Experience with the full sales cycle – lead generation, consultative selling, and closing deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

What You’ll Be Doing as Their Data Analyst:
Collaborate with a tech-driven start-up within an established data team to deliver actionable insights.

What They’re Looking for in You:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Tableau for data visualisation and dashboard creation.
Solid programming skills in Python for data analysis and scripting.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide clear insights.
Excellent communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer experienced with Python to join an AI Startup working remotely.

The Startup is an offshoot of a much larger established organisation, so it’s financially secure and isn’t relying on outside investment.

You will join a small team on the start of its journey to build a cutting-edge AI platform. The product is live but there are endless possibilities on how to develop further features and functionality.

As a Python Engineer, you will be focused on the backend, working with a tech stack that includes Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud Services.

You will need a passion for AI and any previous experience will be a benefit. It’s a fast paced, dynamic environment so the Software Engineer will need to be a self-starter and happy taking ownership.

With the company just starting its journey, the Software Engineer can expect further career progression as the business scales.

To be successful in this role, a good understanding of system architecture, CI/CD and AWS will be important.

The interview process doesn’t include a take home tech test, and the role is fully remote, although you must be a UK resident and live in the country.
